Ok, first off, I'm slightly regretful to announce (;^) jk, bro!) the arrival of a new blog on the web,
My Life By Me created my little 13 yr. old brother, Nathan. He's trying to get his blog going, so drop by if you feel like it. He needs the publicity!
That being said, I can go on with my normal rants and raves. ;^)
Last night turned out to be quite an unexpected mess. I was downstairs reading, expecting a phone call from Alan, because he's at camp, when the phone rang. I jumped up and answered it, assuming it was for me. I was surprised when a distrurbingly famliar voice asked to speak to Heather, my younger sister. I asked who was calling and the voice replied 'Shannon Parma'. I knew Shannon had been one of Heather's friends from Green, but the voice still bothered be. I asked Heather if she knew a Shannon Parma and she jumped up yelling 'Shannon?!'. So I gave her the phone. She picked it up saying, 'Shannon?! Oh my God! Is that you?!', then was quiet for a few seconds, and in a calm voice said again, 'Oh, hi
Shannon...' and went into the bathroom to talk. Thirty seconds later she imerged and went to talk in the car.
That voice was still bothering me, so I went upstairs to tell my mom about it. 'I just answered the phone for Heather,' I told her, 'and the person on the phone said she was one of Heather's friends, but that voice sounded like Gabriell.' Gabriell is our ex step sister, the younger daughter of the bitch that we just got away from because she was abusing us. So Mom told me to go ahead and listen in on the conversation from the phone upstairs. I picked it up and sure enough, Victoria (other ex step sister) was talking to Heather. Gabriell made the call because Victoria had called before and my mom would recognize her voice if she picked up the phone.
We're not supposed to speak to any of them under DHS orders. The sychological effects could be dangerous. Kathy can be very manipulating and abusive, even over the phone. This wasn't the first they'd attempted to call us, and they knew they weren't supposed to. They'd never actually gotten to speak to Heather, or any of us for that matter, because Mom was the one who'd answered the phone and they hadn't lied before.
Anyway, I gave the phone to mom when I realized it was Victoria. She told Heather to hang up the phone, that she was not to speak to Victoria. Mom was pretty upet. Heather said that when she found out it was Victoria, she was so excited to hear from her (Heather and Victoria were best friends) that she forgot everything Mom had told her about why she wasn't supposed to speak to Victoria, but that she understood now that she couldn't and shouldn't and if Victoria tried again, that she would tell her that she couldn't speak to her and hang up.
About five minutes later the phone rang and I picked it up. It was Gabriell. I hung up without saying a word. They called again, this time Victoria and my mom answered it. She told her that she COULDN'T SPEAK TO HEATHER and hung up on her. Steph said that if they called again, he'd answer it, and sure enough the phone rang with Victoria on the line. Steph calmly explained why she couldn't speak to Heather, also telling her that this was really his mother's phone line and this many calls late at night disturbed her. She understood and said she wouldn't call again.
The thing I'm worried about is not so much that Victoria didn't understand, but that her mom will brainwash her into thinking she should call again. Mom heard Kathy's voice behind Victoria's, so we know she was involved in this. What I don't understand is why they can't just leave us alone. Don't they understand that we left them because we HATED living that way with them? It took them about fifteen/twenty minutes to get me from relaxed and fine to shaking with cold hands and feet and cold sweat. I realized last night why people have nervous breakdowns! Hell, my whole life living with them was a nervous breakdown!
I called my dad, and he said he'd call them today and try his best to get this stopped. If they won't, we'll just have a restraining order placed on them and have to change our phone number. I hope we don't have to resort to that.
Well, that's all for now. TTYL.
